Leading the Mortgage Division in the northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin area is Tammy Zurfluh, an expert with more than two decades of industry know-how. Prior to taking on a management role, Tammy was consistently the Region’s top mortgage executive with an extensive base of both new and returning clients, and a wide network of real estate professionals. Today she implements and manages best practices for the region, overseeing strategic planning and the management of mortgage loan products. Tammy and her team deliver unparalleled customer service to clients obtaining a home loan. Additionally, Tammy’s volunteerism reaches deep into the communities First Mid serves. She serves on the Habitat for Humanity of Boone County, the Swedish American Community Board, and is an active member of NorthWest Illinois Alliance of Realtors, the Belvidere Chamber of Commerce, Rock Green Realtors Association, among countless others. Tammy was also the recipient of the Family and Services Habitat Hero Award for the State of Illinois.
Tammy has been married to her husband for over 34 years and they have 2 wonderful daughters, a fabulous son-in-law, and a grandson who she loves to spend time with. She enjoys traveling and some of her adventures have taken her to Italy, Fiji and Australia.
