Shawn joined Blackhawk Bank's Business Banking team, in 2017. He has more than a decade of experience in the financial industry, having worked in personal banking, mortgage lending, loss mitigation, and business banking.
Shawn’s a builder of strong partnerships; his clients find his experience and knowledge highly valuable in identifying needs and developing the appropriate solutions. He works on their behalf to identify opportunities, overcome challenges, and create a course for success.
Shawn received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Minor in Economics from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse, AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business).
He is an alumni of the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. He is also a 2017 graduate of the Schools of Banking: Commercial Lending School.
To continue his growth in the financial field, Shawn attended the Wisconsin Banker's Association Schools and Seminars, where he partcipated in From Supervised to Supervisor, Residental Mortgage Lending and Commercial Lending.
Deeply rooted and committed to the communities in which he lives and serves, Shawn is a member of the Rising Professionals, member of the Lake Beulah Yacht Club and member of Big Foot Country Club. He was a founding member of the Butterfly Club, past member of the Geneva Lake West Chamber of Commerce, past member of the Delavan-Delavan Lake Chamber of Commerce. He is a former member of the Lake Geneva Jaycees, former member and secretary and Captain of the UW- La Crosse Men's Club Soccer Team and former member of Financial Management Association International.
Hobbies and Interests
Committing to an active lifestyle, Shawn enjoys traveling, mountain biking, running, sailing, golfing and racquet sports. He is also a family man who takes pride in his wife and two children.
