June 16, 2020 (Beloit, WI) – Blackhawk Bank recently presented a total of $20,000 in grant money to seven local charities in the southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois area.
Blackhawk Bank, as a member of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago, was able to apply for grants on behalf of these charities as a part of the FHLB COVID-19 Relief Program. The service organizations that are receiving grant funds are those with which Blackhawk has a familiar understanding of their unique set of pandemic-related challenges.
The organizations receiving funds as a part of the FHLB COVID-19 Relief Program from Blackhawk Bank are Beloit Meals on Wheels (Beloit, Wisconsin) Belvidere Family YMCA (Belvidere Illinois), Stateline Boys and Girls Club, (Beloit Wisconsin), The Community Foundation for McHenry County (McHenry Illinois), The Harlem Community Center (Loves Park, Illinois), United Way Blackhawk Region (Janesville Wisconsin), and The Boys and Girls Club (Elgin, Illinois).
