With nearly three decades of experience in the financial industry and a member of the Blackhawk Bank team since 2002, Jim is well acquainted with the lending needs of consumers and businesses. He previously managed the Bank's Consumer Lending Division before advancing into his current role in Consumer & Small Business Lending.
Focused on Small Business Lending, Jim is ready to assist in putting forth strategies to increase profitability and stability in all lines of business to secure lending needs up to $500,000. He's a dedicated partner to any business and works directly with other Business Bankers to transition business clients into higher lending terms if and when they are needed.
Jim earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois. His Associate of Applied Science was received from Rock Valley College.
With the ardor to be involved, Jim served 30 years as Treasurer and Assistant Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 2. He currently serves as Treasurer for the Marina Terrace Owners Association.
Hobbies and Interests
Born and raised in Rockford, IL, Jim and his wife, Stephanie, reside in the Roscoe area. When not working, Jim enjoys spending his time outdoors, shooting sports, ATV riding, motorcycling and attending concerts. He is a long-standing member of the Beloit Rifle Club, Rockford Skeet and Trap Club, and an NRA Life Member.
