Part-time Mortgage Lender Administrative Assistant – 2475 N. Perryville Road, Rockford, IL
Responsibilities of this position include providing administrative, marketing, and/or production support to the Mortgage Lender and/or management staff.
- Provides primary support for database management, including data entry and mailing campaign management

We are looking for someone with a passion for doing it right the first time! Home buying can be overwhelming to some buyers; we're seeking a candidate who will rise to meet the challenge of making it enjoyable. This is not an entry level position.
Responsibilities include coordinating the closing of all loans ensuring accuracy in documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements. This person may interact frequently with customers.
Essential functions include responding to telephone and/or written requests concerning loan closing information, and preparing closing packages consistent with regulatory requirements and departmental processes to include:
- Completing steps in Mortgage Builder and verifying that all figures and information is correct
- Compliance check to include verifying all TIL, GFE and allowable tolerances are met
- Satisfying all closing conditions set by underwriting, verifying with Processor
- Setting up wire transfers to ensure they are sent to the Title Company in a timely manner
- Reviewing and approving all final
settlement statements to ensure RESPA guidelines are met.
This position requires a high school diploma, plus a minimum of 3-years experience in lending operations or related experience. Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and team building abilities. This person must be computer literate with the ability to work in a fast paced environment and detail oriented while meeting date deadlines.
Full-time Mortgage Loan Originator | 200 West Milwaukee Street, Janesville
Blackhawk Bank is looking for a dynamic individual to join our Mortgage Lending Team. You will be responsible for the development of mortgage relationships, establishing and negotiating credit terms, making sales calls to Realtors, builders and centers of influence as well as identifying the client’s immediate needs and additional needs in both the lending and deposit areas.
The position requires a high school diploma plus a minimum of 5 years’ mortgage origination experience, preferably experienced with government loan programs, strong people skills, and computer literacy. The successful candidate must be available to work flexible hours to accommodate the client's needs and to attend networking functions representing Blackhawk Bank.
Teller Positions | Part-time @ 400 Broad Street & 2200 Cranston Road, Beloit
Responsibilities include making clients feel welcome and appreciated, and providing the highest level of quality customer service. Our Tellers handle our client’s immediate requests, and help identify additional financial needs they may have. The successful candidate will undergo thorough training to learn procedures, obtain knowledge of bank products and services, process transactions in an efficient and timely fashion, balance the Teller drawer, and achieve referral goals.
Experience & Qualifications:
A High School diploma is required, plus a minimum of two years prior banking or sales experience. Bilingual in Spanish a plus, but not required. Tellers must possess excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal, sales, customer service and computer skills, and be able to work flexible hours including Saturday.
