News Release: Blackhawk Bank's Roscoe Banking Center Has Moved

Roscoe Temporary Banking CenterMay 1, 2018 (Roscoe, IL) – Blackhawk Bank’s Roscoe banking center has moved from its former location at the corner of IL-251 and Elevator Road to a temporary modular banking center. The temporary location is located behind Blackhawk’s new building at 5506 Clayton Circle in Roscoe.

Blackhawk Bank President and COO Dave Adkins said, “For many years we’ve leased the building on Elevator Road, but our preferred model is property ownership. The building is not for sale and our lease expired in May 2018. The purchase of our new building further demonstrates our generations-old dedication to serving the financial needs of the people of the Roscoe and Rockton region and beyond.”

The new banking center will be a much larger facility than the previous one, with an elevator to a finished lower level. Ownership has allowed total renovation of the building before opening, and the ability to make improvements when needed. During the renovation period of the permanent building,
the temporary facility still offers customers a convenient local banking center, ATM, drive thru, mortgage services, trusted business advice, and more.

The anticipated opening date of the new banking center is fourth quarter of 2018. Updates will be posted on Blackhawk Bank’s Facebook page as construction progresses.
