November 13, 2019 (Beloit, WI) – Amber Sanders has joined Blackhawk Bank as Assistant Vice President, Controller.
Sanders has been in the financial industry for more than 19 years. Most recently, she held the position of Vice President, Controller, at Rockford Bank & Trust.
Amber earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Economics with a concentration in Finance, as well as her MBA from Rockford University. She is also a Certified Public Accountant.
Outside of work, Sanders stays active in the community as the Project/Fundraiser Research member for the Junior League of Rockford. Previously, she held the title of Treasurer, Nominating and Placement Chair, and has served on numerous other committees. She is a member of Next Rockford and was recently recognized as a Top 40 Leader under 40 by the Rockford Chamber of Commerce.
