Adam joined First Mid in 2019, bringing more than a decade of banking experience to the Commercial Lending team. His financial background and his commitment to his clients make him a perfect fit for the Bank’s Kane and McHenry County markets.
He knows a one-size-fits-all approach does not belong in banking. He ensures clients are provided the right products and services that meet their individual needs and circumstances. Furthermore, Adam keeps in close contact with his clients in order to move quickly as individual or economic conditions change. Adam’s areas of expertise include small to mid-size owner/operators, commercial investment properties, residential investment properties, Small Business Administration (SBA) lending, and economic insight.
Adam earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Illinois (U of I), Champaign-Urbana. Prior to attending U of I, he received his Associates Degree from Rock Valley College, in Rockford, IL.
An advocate for children, Adam volunteers with Cal’s All-Star Angels Foundation, Inc. Cal’s Angels is a pediatric cancer foundation with a mission of granting wishes, raising awareness, and funding research to help kids fighting cancer.
Continuing with his child advocacy, Adam supports Alignment Collaborative for Education with the Elgin School District U-46.
As a sports fan, Adam spends a majority of his free time coaching and watching his two daughters play sports. When not watching his daughters play, he can be found playing such sports as golf, basketball, and sand volleyball. Supporting a variety of cities’ sports, Adam cheers on the Chicago Cubs, Dallas Cowboys, and Phoenix Suns. Adam also enjoys music, playing the guitar, and attending as many concerts as he can throughout the year.
